Drop-In: Zoom: Core Balance
Follow along from home with the in-person core class!
A one-hour class suitable for all dancers and fitness enthusiasts.
This energizing class combines elements of pilates and yoga with ballet stretch components. Core Balance emphasises breathwork, alignment, pelvic stability, core strength and stretch to support ease and openness in the joints and a flexible, well-balanced body.
Instructions:
1.) Download Zoom.Us app on your desktop/laptop or mobile device, create an account and and use your name and email that matches NW Dance Project account login information.
2.) Register at least 30 minutes before class starts and check your email for a confirmation and link to our Zoom conference. A confirmation email will be sent at the time of registration, and you will receive a separate email with the link to our Zoom conference call 15 minutes prior to the start of your class. Be sure to check your junk mail too!
3.) Join the Zoom conference and enter the password at the time of your class!
Some Tips:
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection
- Keep your mic off when not speaking (you can mute it by clicking the microphone icon on your screen)
- Share your camera so the instructor knows how you’re doing (you can turn off your camera if you’d like)
- Clear space to move
- Clear your head and dance with us!
We recommend using a yoga mat for floor work.
